World Development Information Day is celebrated every year on 24 October, this year is its 51st anniversary. The day aims to ensure awareness of major development problems and strengthen international cooperation towards solving them. The celebration of this day was announced in the year 1972.

France Becomes the First Country to Make Abortion a Constitutional Right. French lawmakers have approved a historic Bill that would enshrine a woman’s right to an abortion in the constitution. No other country in the world has granted that level of protection to the right to end pregnancy.
