The Uttarakhand government has recently established “Mahabharata Vatika” for forest conservation in Haldwani. Which aims to promote forest conservation and ecological awareness through ancient Indian texts. This initiative follows the earlier construction of Ramayana Vatika.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated several water purification projects focused on cleaning drains flowing into the Rapti river.
