Educational Qualification Requirement:
Junior Overman
1. Diploma in Mining or Mining engineering or other equivalent qualification approved in that behalf by the Central Government and
2. Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or any certificate in Mining which entitles to work as Overman as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017 and
3. Valid First Aid Certificate.
Mining Sirdar
1. Diploma or Degree in any subject other than Mining Engineering and n
2. Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS and n
3. Valid First Aid Certificate. n
(or) n
1. Diploma in Mining with Overman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS and n
2. Valid First Aid Certificate.
Age limit:
30 years for UR/EWS candidates; 33 years for OBC candidates; 35 years for SC/ST candidates as on 01.04.2025.
Pay scale:
Per month Junior Overman Rs. 31,000- Rs.1,00,000; Mining Sardar Rs.26,000-Rs.1,10,000.
Selection process:
Selection will be based on written test.
Application Fee:
Rs.595 for UR/ EWS/ OBC candidates for Junior Overman, Rs.295 for SC/ST; Rs.486 for UR/EWS/OBC candidates for Mining Sardar, Rs.236 for SC/ST.

Selected candidates are liable to be initially posted at Neyveli Mines, Tamilnadu. However, they will be required to work in any Unit /Area / Place situated in India and abroad under the control of NLC India Limited or in any Joint Venture / Associate / Subsidiary company of NLC India Limited, to which they may be posted.
